Product Review: TracKey

Hey everybody! How are you doing today? Today today I have for you one of my favorite multi-tasking products ever. Well you guys know how I love my 2 in 1, 3 in 1 and so on type of products, here's another one! It's the TracKey! For all of you selfie lovers out there, this is one for you! Basically it's a remote shutter for photos as well as a voice recording option and helping you locate your keys. It sounds a bit complicated but it really isn't, the instruction manual that comes with the product is wonderful. It is also available in 4 different colors, green, black, pink and white which is great for individual preferences. Let's get started!
About The Product
(From the product website and the product itself.)
-Product dimensions are 4.5 in. by 0.6 in. by 3.5 in. and weighs 0.3 oz.
-Product uses (1) lithium metal battery [included].

My Review
What do you guys think? Would you use one? Personally for me, I am one that does misplace my keys every once in a while and occasionally my phone. I have downloaded the app to both my iPad and my iPhone and the app works great. The app is relatively easy to use and I have no problems with it at all (no crashing). I got my TracKey in the 'black' color which I find goes pretty well with anything. With the handy little hole/loop, you can easily put this on the same ring as your keys or even get a clip and do it that way. To know the TracKey is on, the little blue light will flash and you will know, to turn it off, it will beep and the blue light will flash then turn off. It's relatively simple to use.

Another perk is that this is actually a selfie/camera remote as well. I don't typically use it as that since it's with my keys in a purse somewhere but it does work well for that too. I don't know if you guys noticed or not but the photo for the (Dollar Tree Cold Cream post) from Tuesday actually used this camera shutter, as you can see below. I don't really use the voice recording option so I can't tell you too much on that. The main usage for this is to locate lost devices or wherever you put this TracKey.

Overall I would definitely say that I'm quite impressed. I lost my keys this one time and the app was able to pinpoint the last location, surprisingly it was just downstairs in the basement. It can go up to 82 feet which isn't too far but if you just lost it in your house somewhere, you should be able to easily find it. For the price and what you get, I think that it's definitely worth it. With Bluetooth 4.0 and the device, it works perfectly. (I mainly use my iPhone 6s.) The instruction manual really does a great job with explaining everything. The size is also great, it's small enough that it's not annoying to have on your keys but not to the point that you would lose this too easily which would defeat the purpose. Hope you enjoyed the review and found it helpful. Till next time!

  1. Oh wow! I seem to misplace my keys all the time. I think that the 82 ft. would be perfect because it seems that I can never find my keys in the house. This would make a great Christmas gift as well for my father. Thanks for sharing..

  2. This seems like a handy device. MY mother could use one of these because she is ALWAYS misplacing her keys. I mean always. I also like that is works for the camera on your phones as well.
