Good morning friends! Happy Wednesday to all. Today I have for you a post that I've been wanting to share with you for quite some time now. Yup from the title you already guessed it, its MY FIRST MAC COSMETICS HAUL! I really just made this purchase because I wanted to try the new MAC Prep+Prime Fix+ Scented Sprays but decided to get a lipstick too because, why not? Let's get started!
Haul
Final Thoughts
For me, I have heard such wonderful things about the MAC Prep+Prime Fix+ and I can kind of see why. I've been using it for a bit over 2 weeks now and do feel like it does give a nice addition to my daily makeup. It can really be used for so much, as a prep primer spray, a final finishing spray, to clear up any excess caking, to created a different effect with eyeshadows (used wet) and so much more. There are so many different Youtube videos on this product that I just decided that I had to have it.
Personally for me, I found that these sprays really didn't have much a scent at all. Very light and if that. I've heard that some are stronger than others such as Rose. I got them in 'Coconut' and 'Yuzu'. There are a couple of different scents out there that "do different things" but I haven't noticed much of a difference. For example, the coconut one is supposed to be moisturizing and the yuzu is energizing/revitalizing. They really are so similar to me that I can't tell much of a difference.
As for the lipstick, it is an "amplified creme' and the shade "CRAVING" is described as a 'burst of plum'. Personally it is somewhat true to that, I think of it more of a berry color. I do think it is quite nice and the wear time is decent. Pretty moisturizing as well.
Overall with my first MAC Cosmetics haul, I did overall enjoy these products. I feel like the "scents" were just a hype though if you like a little scent or a pretty colored bottle, these would be a great step up for the original product. I use these sprays right now as a prep and if I get overly cake-y (which does happen since I have combo-skin). I have yet to try them with eyeshadows but these are almost like "water" so I'm sure they are great for foiling/creating more vibrant eyeshadows. The sprays are $22 each and there are 6 of them (including original) and the lipstick is $16. All in all, I do think my experience with MAC Cosmetics has been pretty great. Packaging is classic and it arrived promptly. See you all next time for the next Show And Tell post! Leave a comment below!
P.S. For an extra wonderful spray, keep these in the fridge, they are so refreshing!

Those scents sound wonderful. I like scents that are light and coconut is a great scent.

ReplyDeleteOooh that spray sounds super interesting!! Do you think it made your makeup last longer than normal?!?! I always think of a primer as a makeup laster ;) Hoping it does in this case because Id love to try it!! I like that its a light scent because I can't imagine anything super heavy on my face!
ReplyDeleteMac products look so nice. I have heard a lot of good things. I would love to try them myself but I'll have to wait until I have more money for that. They're a bit more than I can afford right now. I would love to try their lipsticks.
