Holiday Shopping Tips+Tricks AND $ Reward Sites 101

Hi everyone! Can you believe that we are just about a week away from Thanksgiving? And let's not forget Black Friday too! And yes, yes Cyber Monday as well. I have some great tips to saving money this holiday season that are easy, fast and simple! I also have some great legit, websites where you can earn a bit of extra cash/gift cards/checks for some awesome holiday gifts! Let's get started!

Tip 1:
Try to preview ads or sales online before going to the store. 
-I definitely try to find sales or even preview ads (applicable to Black Friday) before shopping in store to ensure that I am going to get the best price possible.

Tip 2:
Find coupons if possible, there most likely are some valid for your shopping dates.
-Search up any coupons or even deals that may help lower your out of pocket costs. Even restaurants have some great printable coupons. You can also sign up for the store or resaturant's "email list" to possibly even get a coupon that way! Every little bit counts! I love using Retail Me Not, Deal Catcher, Coupon Cabin , the Coupons.com app, and the Snip Snap app! (should be available on both iOS and Android OS.

Tip 3:
Try to get to the store bright and early especially if you really want an item. Items can run out quick and you don't want to risk not getting your desired item. Also another thing for consideration, don't stress over that inexpensive TV, electronic or sweater if they run out by the time you get there. It isn't worth getting upset for, the important thing is that you tried and there will be other sales next time!

Ebates:

-I really like Ebates because of the rewards you can receive. As a new user, you will be asked during sign up (a screen will pop up) to choose a $10 gift card after you make your first $25+ purchase on any Ebates applicable site. There are a ton of sites that allow you to receive a percentage back (anywhere from 1% to 10%) on your online purchase. They send out checks about 4 times a year but after making your first purchase of $25+, you should get an email saying your $10 gift card is on its way.

Swagbucks:

-I do like this option also because it can be redeemed a bit faster than Ebates. You get swagbucks based on the rate and how much you spend. For example 10 swagbucks per dollar, and you spend $30. You will get 300 points or $3 worth (which is a good amount). This will also count for your daily goal (the 300 points). Read below for more information on Swagbucks.

(Great if you have multiple devices and don't have much time during the day.)
-I love Perk TV because it allows me let the app run by itself if desired but you should still keep an open eye on it. It allows you up to 5 devices per account and with me, I use 4 devices and make a decent $4-$5 a day, how simple is that! There is also a pop quiz app, scratch off app and much more (new apps are coming soon). When redeeming a reward, the rewards are sent to your email every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The day you get it will be in your confirmation email.

2. Swagbucks (Earn Gift Cards/Paypal)

(Great if you have a couple hours of free time and one device.)
-I also really do like Swagbucks because it makes earning gift cards pretty fun and trendy at the same time. Basically this website has a bunch of different options such as surveys, videos, clicks, sign ups, registrations, games, reading, shopping online and much more! There are also apps you can use where you watch videos for swagbucks, each app has different rates. There are also Team Challenges where you can interact with other members as well as Daily Goals to meet. I typically can make $3 a day, and if you complete your goal every day for a month (they have bonuses for 1 week, 2 week and 3 week too) you can get an extra 300 swagbucks ($3). After redeeming, your gift card/paypal can take anywhere from 1-14 days approx. to get. You will also get a confirmation email when your reward arrives.

(Great if you have a couple hours of free time and 0-1 device.)
-I personally think that this one is my favorite. This one has no goals so it is more of a do it twice a week and you'll be good. With Swagbucks you would/should do it everyday because of the daily goals (you get a bonus for reaching the goal every day. This site also has a chat box and always moderators to help answer your question. Even though this site looks a lot more simple, it is a bit different from Swagbucks but all in the same concept. Also a great aspect of this website is that you get your gift cards instantly! You click redeem and you see the gift card right in front of you! I really do love this, especially if you need a quick $2 on Amazon, you can get it that easily. Gift cards can go out of stock but they are typically replaced/refilled quite quickly.
