Product Review: Dot & Dot Packing Cubes (Medium, Small and Slim Sizes)

Hi everyone! Today I have something that I think would be great for the holidays and traveling! We all bring way too much when traveling and I found the perfect items that can help reduce cluttering, over packing and taking up too much space in a luggage! 

I am reviewing in this post, the Dot & Dot Packing Cubes in 3 different sizes, Medium, Small and Slim. Let's get started!

(How the items arrive, with a clear baggie for protection)

Okay, let's start from the biggest to the smallest. 

For starters, each one has the following descriptions:
-Available in 1 piece and 4 piece set.
-Available in 10 different colors.
-Comes in a clear bag to prevent from damages.
-Minimizes wrinkles on your clothes or whatever you put inside.
-Maximizes space in your luggage.
-Allows you to easily see what is inside and allows air flow at the same time.

Medium Sized Packing Cube
-Size (13.5" x 9.75" x 3")

-I actually filled mine with clothes for this medium one. I feel that it would be great for a 2-3 day trip.
-I put a hoodie, a shirt, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of underwear, PJs (top and bottom) and a bra. 


Surprisingly it could still fit more! 







This packing cube looks like it's full but it really isn't! 


I got this in the "red" color.

Small Sized Packing Cube 
-Size (11" x 6.75" x 3")

-I put my toiletries inside this one! I was able to fit a lotion, deodorant, one of my face oil treatments, chamomile aromatherapy oil, toner, a lip balm, 2 hand sanitizers, a bar of soap, a full tube of toothpaste, and a pack of tissues! 






This one was pretty much only half way full as well.




(I am not really sure why this first picture on the left came out much brighter than the one to the right. It actually is a "dark blue" color.

Slim Sized Packing Cube
-Size (11" x 6.75" x 3")

-I filled this one with make up (it really is a lot of products but if you like variety or are a make up artist, this one would work well.

-Filled with 8 make up brushes, an eyelash curler, pencil sharpener, facial lotion, foundation, 3 mascaras, a highlighter, 2 eyeliners (one pot, one pencil), a pressed matte powder, a blush/bronzer palette, a bronzer, a blush, eyeshadow primer, 2 eye shadow palettes and 3 lip products.



This size could definitely fit more items but my only concern is that it is a bit flimsy if you're carrying it around. I would also use a brush bag if you have one. Since make up is relatively slender in size, you could definitely fit a lot more product in here. Mine is definitely not even 75% full yet but I feel that this is a large amount of product to bring on vacation. 




I also got this one in the red color.

My Review
  I can honestly say that these will be very helpful whenever I travel! I have the tendency to over pack when going on vacation or visiting family members/friends. My first impression of these cubes were that they are actually a lot larger than I had thought, there are larger sizes than the ones pictured. Also that these hold a lot more than pictured on the Amazon selling page, it looks pretty flat when "deflated" but once you start packing, the size definitely can hold quite a lot of product! 

These cubes can really help reduce the clutter and maximize my luggage space. They are also very versatile and can literally fit anything that you wish to put inside. I also love the handle that it comes with, makes it very easy to transport, move around and carry (if desired). The color options are also very nice, anything from dark blue, to green, to black, to purple and even pink! The prices are very decent since one cube can actually carry a lot more than it seems, the 4 piece set definitely has the price if you are traveling as a family or have more than one person. 


  From my pictures you can definitely see that traveling for a couple day trip can actually be maximized with just these 3 cubes. I can actually still fit a lot more items inside if desired. The only drawback is that if you are putting make up in there, as you see I put, I think the bag is a little flimsy for that since it doesn't really provide much cushioning. On the other hand, if you are bringing this to the beach, swimming pool or to a BBQ or even to an outdoor outing, these would be perfect! They have the mesh pocket to prevent odor build up, steam/ heat from foods or anything small that can possibly seep through like beach sand. In my perspective, think of this as a larger lunch box, it would also be great for picnics!


 The options really are endless and they do the job well. I highly recommend these products, I can't believe I haven't heard of them earlier! This would definitely save me a lot of time packing/unpacking and save me a lot of space in my luggage (more for souvenirs! haha). If you plan on traveling this holiday season, I would definitely tell you that you should check these out! They would also make a great holiday gift or even a stocking stuffer!

(I love how they each have their own handles and can stand on their own!
