My Review
I absolutely love cooking and cooking gadgets. I have always seen these in stores and always enjoyed the purpose and how well it works. The main purpose of a salad spinner is to remove excess water and mix salad dressing if you'd desire (which I do). I love the large size of this bowl, it is great for my family of 4 and great for my extended family's parties as well. I love how this salad spinner comes with "2 parts", one is the colander and second is the bowl. You don't even need to transfer the salad if you don't want to, I love how it is a 2 in 1 product, absolute fabulous as it cuts my preparation time in half!
The bowls itself are very sturdy and the handle is great! Very durable and nicely made. The stop button is also great as it "instantly" stops the salad from spinning around. The kids also love how fun the salad spins around and love how fast they can make it go, the salad spinner is still in top condition at this point although the kids have played with it a few times. It is such a wonderful product, I absolutely love and would highly recommend it.

honest review, all words are mine*
I've never had a salad spinner before, but I wouldn't mind having one. I currently use my spaghetti colander and paper towels to get the excess water off of my lettuce. It's not as efficient as I'd like it to be. That's cool how this particular model is a 2-in-1 product.
ReplyDeleteThat salad spinner is very useful for our home as we make dumplings. The point is to remove the excess water content from the veggies especially the lettuce and the cabbage. With us doing this, the dumplings won't be soggy when cooked. The bowl really looks sturdy. Nice product!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great salad spinner. We have one and we always shred lettuce in it for our Caesar salads. I think having gadgets like this really make you want to eat healthily because it's so easy to prepare food with them.
ReplyDeleteI've also considered getting a salad spinner before, but haven't ever committed to the purchase. We're planning out our Christmas dinner--which will have a salad--and the type of greens we'll be using are pretty delicate and require a spinner. Guess I'll be getting one soon! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I too am a lover of kitchen gadgets, but I'm not sure I would use the spinner much. After reading your review, now I kind of want one. lol Sounds like a quick and easy way to get your lettuce ready for the salad.
ReplyDeleteI have never owned a salad spinner before. I usually just purchase pre-made salad when it is on sale and only the good kind. However, if I ate salad regular I would definitely try this out. Thanks for sharing your review.
ReplyDeleteI love kitchen gadgets since I'm into cooking and baking lately. I've never tried a salad spinner before, but this one from Key Largo might be worth a try. I'll definitely check it out after such a great review.
ReplyDeleteI have seen these before and have thought about getting one. This really sounds like a neat product for any kitchen. We are big salads here and it would sure save time from draining my lettuce like I currently do. Drip, drip, drip.
ReplyDeleteI love me some great kitchen gadgets, I don't have a salad spinner yet. However, we do eat a lot of salad in this house, so having one of these would be really use-full to say the least.
ReplyDeleteWe had a salad spinner when I was a little girl and I remember me and my sister would argue over whose turn it was to spin it! I would love one again - so useful and so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try a salad spinner. I have such a hard time getting all of the water off the lettuce after I wash it, so I really need something like this to help me! Thank you so much for posting this review!
