Good morning friends! Happy Tuesday. How are you guys doing this lovely morning? Today is the first installment of my new series 'Does It Work?-Dollar Tree Edition'. We all know how wonderful Dollar Tree can be and the best part is that everything there is actually a DOLLAR! But even with that, does it work?
I am here to put a bunch of products to the test with this series. They will include photos and my final thoughts on the product and whether or not it really is worth that $1. Today I will be sharing with you the Cold Cream. As many of you may know, Pond's makes it's own Cold Cream which works wonders but costs around $5 for a 6 oz tub, dollar tree sells their version for $1 for a 8 oz. tub. Let's find out if this product is a winner or a dud. What are your predictions so far??

My Final Thoughts
Personally I'm a huge fan of the Pond's Cold Cream, that stuff really works and it's amazing how you could rub it all over your eyes and not have it burn, sting or get super irritated. I am a contact lens wear-er and I've never had problems with it. What I use it for is makeup removal. It really does a great job with removing every little bit of product you have on your skin. (I do use my Clarisonic Mia 2 to be extra clean though.) For the demo, I did use it on a tissue but with a wet wipe or makeup wipe, it works even better. It is really a matter of preference as you can use a tissue, napkin, wet wipe or makeup wipe.
Overall I would have to say that I'm quite pleased. I'm glad that these actually work and no bad reactions to this product. I've used it a couple of times already and it's been pretty great. With just light makeup or a more dramatic smokey look (as I tried to do with the demo), it works really well. For $1, I would definitely re-purchase this product. I love the idea of these does it compare posts. I have always wanted to know. How about laundry soap? Something not found in the beauty line. I am very impressed with the cold creme. I would not have tried it against a great brand. It did awesome though.
