Good morning friends! Happy Tuesday! Yup, it's that time of the month again, it's my October 2015 Glam Bag from IPSY! I am still a subscriber and for this month, I am still enjoying the monthly subscription service. This month's bag is named the "ALTER EGO" and is basically a two-tone color bag, one side is a foiled-gold color while the other is a plastic-like leather black. I got a bit of everything this month as usual and am quite pleased. I never thought I'd like getting perfume in a bag before but I'm quite pleased with it. I am all about the purples, mauves, rose golds, berry, champagne and gold shades! How about you guys?
There is really only one product I will pass onto a friend, the hair product but besides that I love it all. The shades are definitely up my alley this month! Are you a monthly subscriber? You can subscribe for just $10 a month, best part is that you can unsubscribe+resubscribe as many times as you please [all online too!]. Let's get started!

Final Thoughts
What do you guys think about this months' glam bag? Impressed? Not Impressed? The best part about IPSY is that you truly do get 'personalized' selections, you choose what kind of beauty products you like, the shades you typically wear [neutrals, bright, in between] and everything else you could possibly think of. I feel like this month with the 'alter ego' glam bag theme, I did get some colors I never wore before [dark, deep purple nail polish and the berry/wine colored eyeliner] and it's a great time to try them out. With Halloween just around the corner, I am definitely up for experimenting with some new shades!
For this bag I received 2 full sized products and 3 deluxe sample sized products. I got a lip product, nail polish, roller-ball fragrance, hair product and a eyeliner. There is a nice balance with neutral colors, like the lip product and something more bold like the nail polish and the eyeliner. Now for some mini-reviews. I've had this bag for about a week now so I will give you some of my initial thoughts on the products then the bag overall.
The lip product is a really pretty mauve/rose color, it does dry matte if you let it set or if you prefer, put a gloss on top of it and it is a really pretty color. It's a 'your lips but better' type of shade, it's not too 'weird concealer looking' but at the same time still a nice nude neutral. Next up, the nail polish, I have not used it yet but the color pigmentation is quite bold and for dark polishes like this I really do prefer them to be more opaque. The rollerball I typically am quite particular with the scents I use, most of mine are from Bath And Body Works and Victoria's Secret but I really enjoy this one. It's a nice vanilla, not too strong or musky or sweet which I do enjoy. This is also the La Vanilla Brand which can be purchased from Sephora which I do frequently shop at as well.
Now for the hair product, I personally will not be using this one as my hair type just doesn't agree with it but the scent is fabulous. Last but not least, the eyeliner is great as well. It was a bit cold in my house so the liner was a bit 'hard' but after it warmed up on my skin (rub it back and forth on the back of my hand a few times) it worked great. The staying power isn't the best but for me, I don't use a colored liner like this on my entire lid, just as a small accent.
Overall with this bag, I do enjoy it quite a bit. It has a bit of everything and I've never tried any of these products before. I am pleased, are you? Have you tried any of these products before? If you're a monthly subscriber, share what you liked/tried and what you got in your bag. I am so eager to see what you guys got as well. Till next month!
