Product Review: Jiva Organics USDA Organic Curry Powder

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you're all having a great day so far. Today I have for you the Jiva Organics USDA Organic Curry Powder! I love all types of spices and curry is actually quite popular in my household. I have some great demo pictures for  you all today, one is just a dry rub chicken cutlet with curry powder demo and the other is a wet rub with Mama Sita's BBQ Marinade with the curry powder. The recipes are pretty self explanatory and simple. Do as much as you please and experiment from there. Let's get started!

My Review
What do you guys think so far? Are you getting hungry yet? I love using curry powder in my foods, its just one of the spices that is used quite often in Asian cooking. It is also quite universal, great for noodles, meats, soup, anything your mind to! For me with the demo I used it with breaded chicken and with a wet rub with chicken as well. It was an easy spice to use and incorporate with my dinner that night.

I think that curry powder is a stable in every home, its something different and it doesn't have to be spicy (in heat). This one is the "mild" variety and it is just that, just a nice flavor to it, quite authentic I might say as well. You can really see in the "wet" rub version the curry stains on the paper towel, that's my observation of a good curry! Overall I think this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to others!

  4. I really like to marinate my chicken in a mixture of curry powder and plain yogurt. It gives an amazing tenderness after cooking. I would love to try that with this curry.
