Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! Hope you are all having a great day so far! Today I have for you the Azure Naturals Ultimate Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Serum! Yes, another serum! I just can't get enough! Personally for me, they work fairly quickly and can easily be used underneath your favorite moisturizer. There are so many different ones out there that I'm sure you will find one that suits your skin and your desires! I love this one for its "youth" properties and if you don't have wrinkles, don't let the name change your mind, this one is fantastic! Let's get started!

-Product is available in a 1oz and 2oz formula (I am reviewing the 1oz formula).

-This formula includes both retinol (2.5%) and hyaluronic properties which both increase skin's "youthfulness" and elasticity.

-Retinol is one of the most effective ingredients for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Another ingredient in this product is Vitamin A which improves pigmentation/skin texture/tone, wrinkles as well as improving your skin's hydration levels.

-It contains both no alcohol, GMOs and parabens. It is plant based and and cruelty free!

-This product is made in the USA and is 97% natural and 72% organic.

-Best if used in your late twenties or early thirties. Early use of retinol can combat fine lines before they become visible. For beginners, use a small amount every other day and after your skin gets used to it, you can apply it more frequently.

My Review

I was pretty excited to use this product! I have high hopes since I do love their other oils, argan, rosehip and emu (REVIEW HERE). I am fairly young in terms of using retinol products but I was excited if it could do anything for some lines on my skin and some acne scars. I used this product about 1-2 times a week to start. Overall I have used this product for about a month or so now and these are the results I have to share.

So I used this product about 1-2 times a week. First I would cleanse my face, pat it dry then apply a very small amount of this, I say half a pump was good enough for me. It's pretty strong stuff so you really don't want to overdo it especially if you're new to anti-aging or retinol based serums. At first it was a bit tense for me, I had a bit of stinging (slightly sensitive skin) but after a minute it soothed down and my skin absorbed it. I then proceeded to use my daily moisturizer. Also I want to state that I used it at night, probably 30 min before bedtime. For me that was the time period in which I like using serums and such.

This is about 1 pump of product.

Overall I think this product is pretty great. It isn't your instant fix but it definitely shows results over time. I think that's the key to these types of products, they're not "miracles" but a solution to a problem that takes a bit of time to show results. I think I saw results about the 2-3 week of using the product. I noticed some of my lines (move your eyebrows up, yep those are the lines I'm talking about) to diminish and I was pretty excited for that. I think that this product is pretty great, its not liquidity and it does show results. I would recommend it.
