My Review
Are you interested in this product just because of the descriptions? I know I sure was. I was aware of green tea prior to trying this matcha tea but I always thought of matcha as another type or subcategory of green tea. I absolutely love the back story and the great passion and dedication of the family grown tea leaves. Being recognized by the UN as a Globally Important Agriculture Heritage System is also quite impressive. Okay so now onto the real tea details.

This product comes in two different varieties, a ceremonial grade and a culinary grade. The ceremonial is more meant for direct tea consumption while the culinary grade is more used in cooking and such. The price differences with the amount you are getting are quite a difference as well, $25 for 4oz of the culinary versus $28 for 1oz of the ceremonial grade. I would assume that getting the ceremonial grade as a present is a great gift, looks nice and is a real treat for the person receiving the gift. Also from my pictures you can see that it is actually a can with a tab to pull so that ensures great freshness, something I surely appreciate.

Now onto the taste, this matcha green tea tastes very smooth (pure and natural), rich and comes with such a nice vibrant green color (brighter than regular green tea). I love my tea with a bit of milk and sugar sometimes but I find that this tea doesn't even need it! I have so many plans for this green tea, smoothies, milkshakes, baking purposes, and even beauty. I am so excited! I also find that the ceremonial grade will probably last you a couple of months if you use it sparingly. Overall I would recommend this tea because of the great nutritional benefits as well as just because it tastes great.
