Product Review: Total Recoil Kinesio Tape

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Cheers to the new week! Happy Monday to all :) Today I'm bringing you something that is pretty simple but a must have for athletes! It's the Total Recoil Kinesio Tape!  It comes in 2 colors (used to be 3), blue and pink. It is about 2 inches by 16.4 feet, sweat-proof and very elastic! I am actually very surprised by this! Let's get started!!

About The Product
(From product website and product itself.)
-Product weighs about 3.2oz.
-It is a kinesiology tape for sports medicine, about 2 inches by 16.4 feet.
-Can hold onto your skin for up to 5 days and does not leave any sticky or hard to remove residue at all.
-Has an elastic ratio of 160%-180%, it stretches like skin and always recoils back to original shape. It has a very smooth feeling as well.
-Waterproof and sweatproof (great for swimmers as well!)
-Promotes strong healing and injury relief.

My Review
I have nothing bad to say at all about this product. It does the job well and it is such a simple product. What more can you ask for? I'm a dancer and cheerleader (yes I'm an athlete) and time to time I have sore muscles, pain and at times, injury as well. I sprained my ankle a few weeks ago and this tape is a miracle! I got the black color (no longer available) and it looked seamless and perfect. I didn't use too much yet it worked like a charm.

I love how elastic it, how it doesn't leave any messy residue and how smooth it feels (yes almost like skin). It reminds me almost like the heating pad products where it's a patch that you place on your body. My sprained ankle returned "back to normal" in about a week and I can just thank this Kinesio Tape for that! Sorry no pictures of my ankle but I guess you'll just have to take my judgement on this one ;) I would highly recommend it! It is great for athletes of any kind, as it is both waterproof and sweatproof!

  1. This sounds like just what I need. I'm always trying new experiences, and often get injuries because the new muscles I'm using aren't in shape. As a matter of fact, I have a finger that's injured right now. Thanks for the heads up!

  2. What a great product! I also like that it comes in a non-messy form, which is not the case with creams and unguents. Though very effective, they're usually harder to apply. But this is great.

  3. I wished I would have known about this during my active days. Would have saved the knee problems. Then again, this would go handy for my long video production days. Thanks for putting this in my ear!

    2. Your local dance shop or sports store should sell it. You can purchase this brand on Amazon.

  5. I have not heard of kinesio tape before but then again I am no athlete lol, I am always cautious about 'medication' of sorts since this tape acts like a 'medicine' but sounds like it does the job well and a tape that doesn't leave residue or stickyness is a winner to me lol

  6. It's especially nice that it doesn't leave that yucky adhesive residue. That is so hard to get off! It's great that something like this exists to keep sore muscles stabilized. Nobody wants additional injuries if they can help it!

  7. I have seen what it has been, but I never knew the name of it. I'm not way athletic at all or anything like that. But with working out, this would be really helpful with the sore muscles involved in that. I honestly didn't know something like this was around, may get some and try it out.
