About The Product

(From the product website and the product itself.)
-Product has two size options, small/medium or medium/large.

-This shedding tool will reduce shedding hair and eliminate matting up to 90% with one 10-15 minute grooming session.

-This specialty designed stainless steel shedding blade allows the brush to easily remove loose hairs. It reaches beneath the topcoat to gently remove both the undercoat and loose hairs.

-The flexible head is so gentle that it will not damage your pet's skin. (no sharp blades)

-The brush also detangles as well as removes loose hair for less mess overall.

-The rake side is designed with tapered pins to penetrate deep into your dog's coat to remove the undercoat.

-The shorter teeth collect and remove the loose hair which helps prevent matting when used regularly (and reduces shedding in minutes).

-The product also fits in your hand easily and comfortably. It is both recommend and used by professional groomers and vets.

My Review
Overall you can definitely tell that this brush is a winner! Aren't the pictures too cute as well? It was demo-ed with a shih-tzu which I consider kind of a medium dog while some may consider it small. I went with the medium/large brush just to have a larger brush but I found that it worked pretty well. It's not like the brush is extra large that it would be the same length as the dog. With the two different size options you can really decide which brush is better suited for your pup (or cat) for the matter.

You can tell that the dog (his name is Roscoe) doesn't mind it one bit and actually found it pretty relaxing. The blade side (more fine/closely packed together and thin bristles) was a bit more strong which did catch a lot of loose fur but it did also pull a few out although it didn't hurt Roscoe. The other side which is the "rake" is probably my favorite for his hair type and needs. Each dog is definitely different in terms of shedding, hair type and style so you can adjust to those specifications.

I think this brush is definitely a great buy. Shedding is no fun at all, having fur all over the place, it just turns into a big mess. Girls with long hair, you can probably agree with me that when your hair just falls out throughout the day, that's not fun either. This brush can really reduce the amount that falls out and to keep your house more tidy. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to others.

  1. My dog sheds like crazy! I have two different brushes but they do not seem as effective as this one! Also, Roscoe is super adorbs. :-)

  3. Love these brushes! They really work so very well. We have a Pom and her hair gets so long and matted. These brushes work great to get the mats out.
