Product Review: Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Toner [Hydrating Anti-Bacterial Toner]

Good evening to all; yup I'm on a roll, two posts up in a day! As the holiday season starts rolling in, I am so just full of new products to try out that sometimes I will post twice in a day. I try to keep them posted at 9AM EST and 9PM EST [respectively] just so I can keep them as consistent as I can.

For this lovely Friday evening, I have for you the Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Toner. It's great for that extra-step after using your cleanser but before a moisturizer. I'm not a huge fan of the scent/smell of it but if you can get past that, it is a great product. It really helps with acne and redness. Let's get started!
About The Product
(From the product website and the product itself.)
-Product contains 8.4 oz/250mL of product.
-This blue green algae toner wipes away any residual impurities left behind by your cleanser and infuses your freshly cleaned pores with anti-inflammatory minerals, detoxifying nutrients and clarifying actives that help balance your skin.
-Product is ideal for all skin types, as always test out a small portion of skin first.
-Some key ingredients of this product are organic kelp, blue green algae, black willow extract, hyaluronic acid and organic aloe vera leaf juice.
-For usage, after cleansing, apply a small amount onto a cotton pad and gently wipe over face and neck. For optimal results, follow up with a serum or moisturizer.

My Review
Do you guys use toner? I do! I'm actually a big fan of it, I prefer once that will make my face feel smooth/soft, clean and prepped for moisturizer. That is typically my skincare routine, first cleanser, then toner then a serum [sometimes] and topped off with moisturizer. I know some people skip the toner and go straight to moisturizer but I feel so much better knowing that all the residue is cleaned off, especially if I used makeup that particular day. Just using a cleanser doesn't always get everything off [even if you use a tool like the Clarisonic Mia 2]. It also helps to really get a clean surface for your moisturizer as mentioned earlier. One aspect I did want to mention is that a lot comes out with one pump, be prepared.

Overall, yes this is a great product though I don't use it every day, I alternate between this and my Pixi Glow Tonic Toner. I use this Michael Todd one more for my acne-prone days or if I need a deep clean. I'm glad that it doesn't dry my skin out since my skin does have a bit of a sensitivity [combo skin as well]. To my understanding of the ingredients, it does not contain any alcohol [knowing for its drying properties] which is great. Personally I think that it smells like seaweed, the ocean and the beach. I think it'd be great for spot treatments too especially if you think it's a bit overwhelming in scent. It does help with any redness I may have and with clearing up acne breakouts faster. I would recommend.
