I love having a nicely drawn bath with a bath bomb, some bubbles, a nicely lit candle, a body scrub and a face mask with some nice music playing in the background. My Review
I love my 'me time'! It allows me to unwind, relax and breathe after a long week. It's my time to just think about myself and to enjoy myself. As mentioned earlier, much of my 'me time' is comprised of stuff done in the bathroom such as a nice bubbly, relaxing bath as well as body scrubs and face masks. I love giving my body the extra attention and care it needs as well as the full-on treatment since I don't have the time for this during the week. Saturday Night has always been my time for solitude and relaxation since I do attend school during the week. I was so excited to try some new products and to add them to my routine.
I have used all three products in one bath before, that doesn't mean that I use the entire jar but I have tried them out all at one time and I am so glad I came across this set. It may seen pricey at first but it is so worth it and not to mention, super luxurious. As the colder months come along, caring for you skin is the upmost priority, it can get dried out, de-hydrated as well as not as healthy or nourished as it should be. Now let me share with you my skincare aka bath time aka 'me time' routine.
First off before I even get into the bath, I run some warm/hot water and throw in a bath bomb or just some of these bath salts [gives about the same effect] and let it soak in for about 5 minutes. I then get into the tub, let me just say this that it is oh so soft. Ever think about water being soft and smooth? You'll be in love if this is the first time ever trying it out. Secondly, I get into the tub, have my music and candle [to set the mood] and soak for about 5-10 minutes. I then use my body scrub on my entire body and put a face mask on. You will feel like royalty while enjoying your pampering routine.
Enjoy your time and bath for maybe 20-30 minutes then to soak up all the extra hydration, finish your body off with the body cream. It's super creamy, easily absorbed and just feels amazing! Definitely something to consider, especially if you don't use body lotion on the daily. That is my routine, it might seem extensive but if I can enjoy this one night a week, I'm a happy gal.
